Wow, i wish more companies were like Paul and his son. They couldn’t do enough for our move. Especially as my husband had put his back out. Didn’t phase them to stop on route to deliver a sofa to friends either. Just took it in their stride. Everything was done with a smile. I can’t recommend Paul and his team highly enough. They took charge of our move from London to Suffolk, making what could have been a pretty stressful day quite the opposite. All furniture was carefully and efficiently packed into the van, nothing was damaged. Moving house can be a nightmare, thanks to the van about town crew this was not the case for us.

I really cannot rave enough about Paul's service. He recently helped move my daughter from Ipswich to London and we really would never have survived the experience without him. He turned up on time, packed the van very carefully so no items would get damaged and was friendly to talk to on the journey . Absolutely amazing service today from Paul and Adam of The Van About Town. They turned up on time and very quickly and efficiently loaded up all our furniture and boxes for our move. At our new house, they quickly unloaded everything as directed and helped us move furniture and appliances into place. Paul even very kindly helped me fit the washing machine, while Adam rebuilt our sofas! Nothing was damaged in the move and you can really tell they put a lot of pride into their work, they went above and beyond what we had expected. I picked Paul because of his 10/10 Checkatrade scores, only to find that he was actually better than that! He had me pencilled in a week or so before, but I only had 24 hours notice of the actual move. But He and his son put up with my awful packing without any complaint, transported everything, and loaded everything into my new property (some way from where he could park the van) quickly, safely and carefully. Nothing was too much trouble. I couldn't have wished for a better or easier stress-free move. Unreservedly recommended!

Honestly cannot recommend enough. Paul and his colleague went above and beyond tonight. True gents that really worked their socks off. Super helpful, right from the booking stage to completing the job. Will definitely be using The Van About Town for all future jobs. We messed Paul around a lot with removal dates but he always provisionally booked us in but once we had a date set he ensured he would free that date up for us. Very prompt, professional and a laugh. We had a lot to get into the van and he ensured us all of our things were safe and stacked safely. Paul and his son mad our moving day stress free and I would recommend these to anyone! I used The Van About Town to transport a sofa from near Newmarket to Ipswich. Excellent service, and Paul (the owner) was very nice to deal with. Very professional in every respect. The van was very clean and he secured the sofa to prevent any damage. The price he charged was very reasonable and I would certainly use again and recommend him.

I have used this service 4 times now and each time Paul (the owner) has responded within minutes to my requests for prices and availability. He does a great job, is very conscientious and his prices are extremely fair. He helped me take a shed down and transport it, has collected various items of furniture for me and delivered carefully. He is one of the few people operating with all the licences and insurance necessary and i would recommend him without hesitation.

Great price, great service and the only person I came across who volunteered his license information so I could be certain my items were being disposed of properly. Friendly and professional at a reasonable price. Highly recommend and I'll certainly use again next time I clear out some stuff or move house.

Excellent Father son team, very helpful, diligent meticulous care of goods, very reasonably priced, no time wasting just got on with the job having previously moved at least 36 times!!! was dreading it this time -moving out of second floor with no lifts , short notice.....one of best removal team I have come across, moved all goods delivered in appropriate rooms, things fixed, even gave lift when I lost my car keys!! My 8 year old says - very nice, hardworking - we offered them lunch but they said -no,because they were working nice and quick did not want to waste time, break after the job is finished

Absolutely amazing service today from Paul and Adam of The Van About Town. They turned up on time and very quickly and efficiently loaded up all our furniture and boxes for our house move. At our new house, they quickly unloaded everything as directed and were particularly helpful in sharing advice about moving furniture and appliances around. Paul even very kindly helped me fit the washing machine, while Adam rebuilt our sofas! Nothing was damaged in the move and you can really tell they put a lot of pride into their work, they certainly went above and beyond what we had expected. The Van About Town were recommended to us by a friend and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in need of a van, especially for a full house move like us.

There were a few mind changing issues, Paul took all in his stride!
